Jamesy turned six

I have no idea where all the time has gone but James turned six this week and it was met with much fanfare and giggles at our house.

James is a quiet boy, very shy, very smart. He is also the best big brother I know. James is learning how to ride a bike, well i take that back. He knows how to ride a bike, I have seen him do it several times. The problem is he doesn't like bike riding so he pretends he doesn't know how to do it. He is also learning to rollerblade with weekly lessons from his sisters. James is a swimmer and loves when we can get him into swim lessons.

James is a talented artist and has a great ideas. He is so inquisitive that I don't even know all the answers to his questions and he enjoys looking up the answers on the internet.

We love this guy and are so grateful that he is part of our family.

When asked what he wanted for lunch on his birthday he said soup. So a trip to zuppas was in order.
We even let him get a chocolate birthday treat.
He was excited to have grandparents over though for presents and cake.

James always asks for the most interesting cakes for his birthday. We have done a blueberry cake, a strawberry cake, and this year it was an orange cake.

Happy birthday James!!!

  1. Isn't it crazy how quickly they grow? He's so handsome and sounds so much like Mia, except that she LOVES riding her bicycle and would do it rain, snow, sleet, or shine, if we'd let her. :)
