Comic Con- September 2016

Ah Salt Lake Comic Con the time where the Bradley Family comes together and let's their geekiness shine forth just a smidgen more than usual. It is one of the favorite weekends of the year and something that we all enjoy. So without further ado I present our 2016 Salt Lake Comic Con adventure:

Day 1

We purchased the Gold pass again this year so we could go
in an hour before everyone else- best thing ever. We snatched the kids from school
early and were off. We found some nice missionaries to snap this picture for us- I never
got to do anything cool like comic con on my mission.

I'm pretty sure I need to put this phrase on the doorway
to the boy's bedroom.

The Kids con had a wizard theme this year, Matt was sad
not to do superhero training but we had a good time anyway.

While Matt was training to be a wizard the older kids went and found the weeping
angels and the TARDIS. Glad the angels didn't send them back in time.

Matt and James decided to see how much bigger the
 TARDIS was on the inside.

My cute iron man found a nice older Tony Stark to share a helmet with.

After adventures around the con little Iron man needed a nap on mom's lap.

As we were leaving that first day Matt found yet another iron man to make friends with.

Day 2
We decided to declare Friday at the Con a school and work free day and went to go and play together and 100,000 plus  of our friends. Matt and Eve were our best picture takers, the others were only in pictures by force-I'm still working on my Jedi mind tricks.

Little Kylo and a Bigger Kylo friend he found. Oh and we only lost the mask once
during our day- Winner!

Kylo showing his softer side!

Princess little Red Riding Hood was often mistaken for
Minnie Mouse. She sure was cute though.

It took Matt a couple times to warm up to the idea of
Darth Vader. Then he was ready for the picture.

Abby had a chance to put on the mask too, it looked good.

Abby's nap schedule was thrown off by our adventures.
She was able to catch a bit of rest here and there snuggled in close.

Day 3

We started our day out with our traditional Con breakfast at Kneaders!

Matt and his Daddy, my two dressed up boys.

James is in this picture...who can find him?

Trying to reenact a controversial battle...who shot first?

Matt totally found his people.

I didn't even need to beg for James to take this picture.

I think the snake liked him.

We pulled out this old costume for Abby and she even kept the crown on the rest
of the day!

Matt was super excited to find the Power Rangers he even pulled his own cool moves.

Christian found several other Fallout Survivors. It was fun to see them all together...
plus Christian's costume looked good!

I had one costume this year.

It was a great weekend and some of us are already planning our costumes for next year. So farewell my fellow geeks we will see you again in a year!
