Arts Festival

The Bradleys have been doing the Utah Arts Festival every year for as far back as I can remember, and this year was no exception. We headed out in the afternoon, parked on the street and walked a couple blocks in to the festival. The kids loved the toddler area, here's the three of them piled on a teeter-totter.

They had all sorts of arts and crafts at tables in the children's art yard.

Laine and Eve made some snazzy kitty masks.

James made a paper eagle, but he lost it pretty quickly. The girls managed to hold on to theirs.

We met up with my parents and had dinner with them on the sponsor's patio (Dad used to be on the board so he gets access), ran into my brother James and his family over in the kiddy land, and had a pretty good time. We offered the kids the chance to stay up as late as they wanted, as long as everyone avoided the dreaded grumpies. That ended up lasting until we tried to get some ice cream for dessert when Eve had threw a fit over which flavors we picked out. Oh well, one day they might be ready to have fun.
