Back to school 2.0

Christian posted last week about the girls starting back to school but we also had another milestone last week- James started preschool. James has been waiting to go to school for the last few weeks asking almost daily if it was time yet. James can already read and as his preschool teacher found out last week he can blend his letters. We have also been working on his handwriting. He is a smart little boy.

James wore his backpack all day on Thursday in anticipation of going to school. I felt so bad telling him that he had to leave the backpack at home and take the bag the school gave him. He was fine though.


James and I walked to school and home from school, we almost got hit by other parents going to go and pick up their kids from the preschool...I guess everyone was excited to pick up their youngster and hear the exploits of the day.
